Oracle Fusion AI — What's Actually Shipping Inside Fusion Cloud

A practitioner-level guide to Fusion Agentic Applications and embedded AI across Oracle's enterprise cloud. What works, how to enable it, and where the gaps are. Updated June 2026.

Oracle introduced 22 Fusion Agentic Applications in March 2026 — coordinated teams of AI agents across finance, supply chain, HR, and CX — building on the 50+ prebuilt agents it began embedding from the March 2025 launch of AI Agent Studio. Unlike external chatbots or co-pilots, these agents live inside Fusion Cloud itself. They don't explain what could be done — they execute workflows, settle claims, match invoices, and forecast cash. Embedded by default means no external integrations needed. AI is part of the transaction, not bolted on top of it.

What changed in 2026

Oracle's agentic push accelerated through the first half of 2026:

  • 22 Fusion Agentic Applications announced March 2026 — with 12 across ERP and Supply Chain and 5 across CX detailed in April 2026, plus a Workforce Operations application for HCM.
  • AI Agent Studio gained an Agentic Applications Builder (March 2026), plus workflow orchestration, contextual memory, observability, and an Agent ROI dashboard — at no additional cost.
  • The AI Agent Marketplace (launched October 2025) offers validated, partner-built agents from a broad network of system integrators and ISVs, with multi-LLM choice (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Cohere, Meta, xAI).
  • Oracle now counts more than 600 embedded AI agents and assistants across the Fusion suite.

Fusion Agentic Applications require a current Oracle Fusion Cloud subscription. The key differentiator: AI agents are included in standard licensing — not a separate BI tool add-on like SAP's or Microsoft's approach. AI capabilities are enabled through Oracle AI Agent Studio, which allows customization without coding. Check your Fusion Cloud Account → Modules → AI Agents to see what's available in your edition.
